Actions
In the "Actions" section of our website, you will discover a wide range of essential activities to effectively advance the 2030 Agenda in your organization. These include actions for internal adoption of the 2030 Agenda (diagnose, plan, implement and communicate); promotion of the agenda through financial and non-financial support to organizations (finance, strengthen); mobilization of the agenda among various stakeholders (articulate, convene and advocate).
    • Sensitize: refers to campaigns, forums or seminars carried out by FBOs to disseminate and publicize the SDGs and motivate different stakeholders (CSOs, companies, academia or governments) to work within the framework of the 2030 Agenda.
    • Convene: refers to calls by the FO to other actors (CSOs, companies, academia or governments) to deliberate and reflect together on possible actions and projects around the 2030 Agenda.
    • Diagnose: refers to activities carried out by FOs to analyze or diagnose their own programs or to map the situation of territories in relation to problems, programs or actors, with the SDGs as a framework.
    • Plan (or design): refers to the incorporation of the SDGs by the FO in the design of its strategy, plans and programs or the facilitation by the FO to design territorial plans in which the SDG targets and indicators are incorporated.
    • Implement: refers to the execution of the FO's own projects or programs or the participation in collaborative programs aimed at advancing one or more SDGs in the territory.
    • Articulate: refers to the coordination by the FO of initiatives, programs, projects or activities aimed at advancing one or more SDG targets, carried out by multiple actors either from the same sector (CSOs) or from different sectors (CSOs, companies, governments).
    • Social Investment: refers to the processes of convening or direct delivery of donations, or other forms of resource transfer (loans) carried out by FBOs to support with financial resources projects and initiatives aimed at advancing one or more SDGs
    • Organizational strengthening: refers to training activities, accompaniment and production of materials and tools carried out by FOs, aimed at training CSOs, companies or governments to have the capacity to work with the SDGs.
    • Influence: refers to the activities of FBOs to influence local, regional or national governments to incorporate the use of the SDGs in public policies, development plans or reports. Participation in planning and monitoring bodies created by local or national governments can also fall under this function.
    • Measure: refers to the processes of measuring or evaluating the progress of the FO's programs or the creation of information systems by the FO so that stakeholders in the territory have information on the progress of the SDG indicators and targets.
    • Report: refers to the processes of reporting on the progress of FBO programs or progress in the territory made by the FBO, using the SDG indicators and targets as a reference.
